For the first time, the German-Kosovar Economic Forum is being held in Pristina. The activity started yesterday and it will end tomorrow. Being organized by the German-Kosovar Chamber of Commerce and supported by Eastern Committee of the German Economy and the Government of Kosova, this Forum has brought together over 40 businesses from Germany, Kosova and the Diaspora.

In addition to about 250 participants from Kosova and Germany, this Forum is attended by high authorities from the Government of Kosova, representatives from the German Federal Ministry for Economy, as well as the German Ambassador in Kosova.
Taking part in the Forum, the Honorary President of the Diaspora Business Chamber, entrepreneur and philanthropist Lazim Destani says this Forum is also a good opportunity for the advancement of cooperation between Kosova and Germany.

“Many businessmen from both countries and our Diaspora find here favorable opportunities for developing ideas and initiatives for business development, for increasing the balance of trade, industry and exports from Kosova. It’s of particular importance to familiarize German businessmen and partners with investment opportunities in the areas with the greatest potential that Kosova offers, as Germany is the main strategic partner for the development of Kosova’s economy. According to the agenda at the end of the forum, there will be visits to companies and businesses in several cities around Kosova. These visits, through direct meetings of businessmen and businesses, present very good opportunities for acquaintance, networking and cooperation between businesses,” Destani writes on his Facebook page.
The three-day meeting will focus on three Outsourcing issues in Kosova: Chances and Opportunities, Investment and Cooperation Opportunities as well as Investment Potential in renewable resources.
