Lazim Destani and Pandeli Majko, the Albanian Minister for Diaspora, have held discussions on opportunities for economic development in Albania at Mr Destani’s family offices in Düsseldorf.
The discussion took place on Mr Destani’s invitation and covered a range of subjects, including how to increase tourism in Albania. Mr Destani and Mr Majko also discussed the opportunities and barriers to foreign investment into Albania and the region more widely.
Mr Destani was also able to update the Minister on his family’s global business network, which is an important employer of Albanians, as well as other communities in Southeast Europe and across the world. Mr Majko took the opportunity to thank Mr Destani for his work on various diaspora causes.
