Lazim Destani joined influential guests, including the Prime Minister of Macedonia, government representatives, regional mayors, diplomatic staff and business leaders at a celebration event for the UK Queen’s birthday, organised by the British Embassy in Macedonia.
Mr Destani attended the event in his capacity as a philanthropist and as Chairman of the Advisory Board for Ecolog International, which sponsored the event and works with the UK Ministry of Defence on integrated logistics projects worldwide.
This year’s event was particularly special, as it also marked 25 years of diplomatic relations between the UK and Macedonia. Mr Destani met the UK ambassador and other diplomatic staff at the event, and expressed his support for the important anniversary.

“It was a pleasure to be part of the Queen’s birthday celebrations this year. It was a night of celebration, but also of hope that with strong diplomatic allies like the United Kingdom our country will continue to go from strength to strength.”
